This 77,664 square-foot two-story office building includes office, work and breakroom space, a full-sized gymnasium with locker rooms and a fitness center, and an adjacent full-service cafeteria with seating for up to 300. A large lobby entrance enhances flow and security for workers. The exterior of the building is composed of insulated, concrete tilt up panels. Pickering coordinated efforts with the general contractor, food service provider, athletic equipment manufacturer, as well as Nike and their branding agency, to deliver a facility designed to provide a work environment befitting Nike’s culture.

Designed and constructed in just seven months to achieve LEED Silver certification, the building contains high-lumen, LED fixtures with lighting controls. The carpets are sustainable and green label certified, and the paint is Green Seal certified for low Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). As a result of these and other measures, this office building experienced a water use reduction of 42% and a total energy cost savings of 29%.
