Pickering Firm, Inc. serves as Panattoni Development’s Architectural, Structural and Civil Engineering firm of choice for its Gateway Global Logistics Center (GGLC), a 1,500-acre industrial park site located in both Fayette County, Tennessee and Marshall County, Mississippi.  

The park is adjacent to the Norfolk Southern intermodal terminal and accessed via Highway 72 and Highway 302 from SR 385 and future I-269. There is heavy-duty road access throughout the park, allowing future tenants the ability to maximize container loads.  A $30 million widening project of Highway 72 will feature a flyover of Highway 72 over GGLC's park road with cloverleaf access to the park.

• Post Consumer Brands: 677,500 SF
• Tire and Battery Corporation (TBC Corporation): 1,500,240 SF (the largest build-to-suit ever in the Memphis Market)

Since GGLC’s opening, Pickering has provided engineering and architectural design services for over 8.5 million total square feet of facilities.

Master Planning
The initial phase of design development included master site planning of the entire 1,500-acre park. Consideration was given to infrastructure needs and access for each building along with earthwork to allow for balanced sites and master stormwater detention design.  The individual building projects have included site planning, grading, storm drainage and detention design, sanitary sewer, domestic water and fire protection, and phased erosion control.
