Pickering was selected by the City of Bartlett to conduct a study for street improvements along Ellis Road east of the New Brunswick Road intersection to alleviate intersection sight distance issues. Upon completion of the study, Pickering provided survey and design services to incorporate the required improvements. The safety improvements include lowering Ellis Road approximately 10 feet to provide sufficient sight distance for the westbound approach to the New Brunswick Road intersection. Additionally, Ellis Road will be widened to 4 lanes with curb and gutter and sidewalks.
