Point Cadet Fishing Pier had its ribbon cutting ceremony, and Pickering’s Rick Ferguson was there, stating that the pier is the longest as-built drive-on fishing pier in the country. Ferguson continued, by stating that  there may be others longer, but they were once bridges! Pickering designed the 4,700 FT concrete pier now open in the City of Biloxi, MS.
